It is in deep sadness and sincerest condolences to take note of the passing of CYM soldier Maria Matobane Montse, who passed away on Sunday, 8 July 2018, she was a full CYM member in good standing of URCSA Kopela Branch, under the Ottosdal Presbytery.

As the Montse family, the congregation of URCSA Kopela and PUE of Ottosdal and as the CYM of the Southern Synod, we bid farewell to beloved member of the branch ministry, Mofumahatsana Montse, has served URCSA Kopela CYM Branch as an ordinary member since 2008 and served as Secretary of the branch executive committee.

As CYM in our Region, we send our sincerest condolences to all who had the opportunity of engaging and being drawn by her and love of the ministry she proudly served supported and led CYM.

As CYM Southern Synod re mo tsamaisa ka Hosanna 294, Verse 1;
“Lefifi le letsho-letsho,
Le mofuteng o kgopo,
Ikgetheng, lona ba Jesu,

We acknowledge her support and dedication serving the branch. As a ministry, we are strengthened by God’s word from Filemone1:13 “Ke ne ke hopotse hore nka mo thibela hore a dule le nna, a tle a ntshebeletse bakeng sa hao, ditlamong tsa Evangeli”.

As the Regional Executive Committee of the Christian Youth Ministry of the Southern Synod, in tradition it is with pleasure to present the Lifetime Appreciation of Silver Status, in honour, recognition and memoriam of lifetime dedication to the goals and ethos of the Christian Youth Ministry, and her contribution as former secretary of CYM Kopela Branch.

Mofumahatsana Maria Matobane Montse will be laid to rest on Saturday, 14 July 2018, at URCSA Kopela at 7:00am. CYM Ottosdal PUE will conduct Memorial Service from 18:00 on Wednesday, 11 July 2018 at the home, KD 040 Kopela Village, Delareyville. A night vigil will also take place at the home on Friday, 13 July 2018 from 21:00.
