It is in deep sadness and sincerest condolences to take note of the passing of CYM soldier Mpho Mofokeng, who passed away on Sunday, 26 August 2018, he is a full CYM member in good standing of URCSA Sannieshof Branch, under the Ottosdal Presbytery.

As the Mofokeng family, the congregation of URCSA Sannieshof and PUE of Ottosdal and as the CYM of the Southern Synod, we bid farewell to beloved member of the branch ministry, Monghadi Mofokeng, has served URCSA Sanneishof CYM Branch as an ordinary member since 2002 and served as Vice Chairperson of Ottosdal PUE for the term 2014 -2016, Monghadi Mpho currently served on the Church Council of URCSA Sannieshof.

As CYM in our Region, we send our sincerest condolences to all who had the opportunity of engaging and being drawn by his and love of the ministry, is exemplary leadership and passion for people of which he proudly served with distinction.

We acknowledge his support and dedication serving the branch and the PUE of Ottosdal. As a ministry, we are strengthened by God’s word from 2 Samuel18:33 “Ebile Morena o hlokofala haholo, a hlwella phaposing e hodima monyako, a lla, a nna tsamaya teng, a ntse a re: Mora ka Absalome! Mora ka! Mora ka Absolome! Hojane ho shwele nna bakeng sa hao, Absolome! Mora ka! Mora ka!”.

As the Regional Executive Committee of the Christian Youth Ministry of the Southern Synod, in tradition it is with pleasure to present the Lifetime Appreciation, in honour, recognition and memoriam of lifetime dedication to the goals and ethos of the Christian Youth Ministry, and his contribution as former vice chairperson of CYM Ottosdal PUE.

Monghadi Mpho Mofokeng will be laid to rest on Saturday, 01 September 2018, at URCSA Sannieshof at 7:00am. CYM Ottosdal PUE will conduct Memorial Service from 18:00 on Wednesday, 29 August 2018 at the home, No. 363 Letsema Section, Agisanang Location. A night vigil will also take place at the home on Friday, 31 August 2018 from 21:00.
